Personal Data We Process:
The CRW processes your personal data when you use our services and/or when you provide this information to us. The term 'personal data' refers to information that can identify you as an individual. Below is an overview of personal data that we (may) collect and process:

- Date of birth
- Place of birth- Gender
- Nationality
- Address details
- Phone number
- Email address
- Education
- Language proficiency
- Skills
- Bank account number
- VAT number
- Chamber of Commerce extract
- Insurance policy
- Physical characteristics
- Invoice details
- Clothing sizes
- Copy of necessary work and travel documents
- Agreements
- Photos where people are recognizable; photos of assignments we carry out and photos that freelancers independently upload in their online profile FlexPS
- Other personal data actively provided in correspondence, by phone, or in the freelancers' own profiles in FlexPS- CV (Curriculum Vitae)
Purpose of Processing Personal Data:
The CRW processes personal data because you use our services and/or provide it to us. We maintain records of our freelancers, clients, office staff, and other relationships. We process personal data because it is necessary for the execution of assignment agreements we enter into with clients and freelancers and (if there is no agreement) to provide information about our services, obtain assignments, build our freelancer database, and comply with legal obligations.
Newsletter:
The CRW uses personal data to send digital newsletters to our clients and other relationships. We operate on an opt-in system, allowing recipients to easily unsubscribe from each mailing.
Sharing Personal Data with Third Parties:
The CRW shares personal data with various third parties when necessary for the performance of its services, such as with (potential) clients. We enter into processing agreements with companies that process personal data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of personal data. These parties use your data only in accordance with the instructions we provide and not for their own purposes.
Retention Period:
The CRW does not retain your personal data longer than strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. We follow the following retention period for the personal data we process:
- In case of rejection; up to 4 weeks after rejection
- Upon deregistration / inactive profile; after 1 year
Sharing Personal Data with Third Parties:
The CRW publishes visual material from assignments where freelancers have worked on our behalf on social media, our website, and in our newsletter. We do this to attract (potential) clients and acquire assignments for our freelancers. It is technically possible for third parties to copy this data, over which we have no control.
Cookies:
The CRW uses only functional and analytical cookies that do not infringe on your privacy. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet, or smartphone when you first visit a website. The cookies we use are necessary for the proper (technical) functioning of our website and your user convenience. They ensure that the website works properly and remember your preferences. You can opt out of cookies by configuring your internet browser not to store cookies. Additionally, you can delete all previously stored information through your browser settings.
Access, Correction, or Deletion of Data:
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw your consent for data processing or object to the processing of your personal data by The CRW. You have the right to data portability, meaning you can request us to send the personal data we hold about you in a computer file to you or another organization of your choice. You can send a request for inspection, correction, deletion, data transfer, withdrawal of your consent, or objection to the processing of your personal data to info@the-crw.nl. To ensure that the request for access is made by you, we ask you to include a copy of your identity document with the request. In this copy, black out your photo, MRZ (machine-readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number, and Citizen Service Number (BSN) to protect your privacy. We will respond as soon as possible, but within four weeks, to your request. The CRW also wants to inform you that you have the option to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority. How We Secure Personal Data:
The CRW takes the protection of your personal data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure, and unauthorized modification. This includes securing network connections with Secure Socket Layer (SSL) or a similar technology and restricting access to your data to individuals who need it to properly perform our services. Additionally, we will process your data only within the European Economic Area (EEA). Outside the EEA, we will process your data only if that country provides an adequate level of protection. Without your consent, we will never transfer your data to other countries or parties other than those mentioned in this privacy statement. Changes:
